Sample Answer of the You Brought a TV a week ago but when you got home you discovered

Dear Sir/Madam,
I regret to say I was completely dissatisfied with the television that I purchased from your Samsung Company seven days prior. It has been informed to customer service many times; however, they could not provide me adequate assistance.

I have been working as a press reporter in a news agency. Although I work round the clock albeit, it did not prevent me from entertaining myself. Due to this reason, I purchased a television to keep myself abreast of the outer world and for entertainment purposes as well.

And I was happier than earlier times, as I live alone and now I can enjoy my weekends. I was astonished to see some scratches on the screen, But I ignored it by keeping in mind your company’s valuable services that I received for a long time. So I couldn’t stop myself from writing this letter to see the distorted images on the screen, and the low sound quality added fuel to the fire.

I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter. And I will be left with no alternative but to take legal action unless the refund is received or the television is replaced within the next seven days.
Yours Sincerely,

So this is the end of IELTS-Trend General Writing Task 1 Sample 1

  1. Dear Sir/Madam,

I am composing this letter to inform you about the Television I bought last week from your store. This TV was a part of promotion and the salesman brief me about it as it’s a new brand with the best features in the market. But when I reached home I came to know that there is some technical problem with it and its not working properly. There is something wrong with the display, the display comes and goes automatically. I called the customer service department but they haven’t took any action yet, its already more than two weeks now.

Next week there is champion league football tournament about to start cause of it I specially bought this Tv. Now I want you to replace this Tv as its still under warranty and I want you to deliver me the new one before the tournament will start. I hope you will do something for me as I didn’t got any response from the customer service. Looking forward to get a positive response from you and your team.

    yours sincerely,

    Sunil kumar
