IELTS Writing Task 2 – Sample 26 Having more money and less free time is better than earning less money and having more free time. Discuss both views and state your opinion
INTRODUCTION
Plenty of wealth and time, both are crucial to lead a prosperous life. Some people consider more money and less leisure time is better than getting less time is better than getting less money and a Huge amount of past time. I think it is better for people to have less money with plenty of time to remain both mentally and emotionally fit and for the longevity of a person as well.
PARAGRAPH 1
First off, some people consider money is all in all the amenities of modern life; they become workaholic even at the cost of getting less free time. Because they have an insatiable desire to get more. For instance, most people get influenced by the lifestyle of famous celebrities. This thing instills a kind of urge in them to earn more and they do it by sacrificing their leisure time. Thus, they remain disturbed mentally and emotionally.
PARAGRAPH 2
On the other hand, people who earn less and have a huge amount of time are satisfied with their life. Even though they have not many sources of income but they are good at managing their finances and spend their leisure time with their near and dear ones that make them happier and healthier. For instance, though the wages of such people are very less, they give more priority to their loved ones instead of utilizing that time to earn more. In this way, they remain healthy both psychologically and emotionally. This not only increases their longevity but also makes them lead a stress-free life.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, people have different views regarding money and time. I think contentment is more important to lead a blissful life and it does not depend on earning more by scarifying the free time.
