Studying the English Language in An English-Speaking Country Is the Best (2) (1)

Studying the English language in an English-speaking country is the best but not the only way to learn a language. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Currently, the English Language has become one of the commonest languages around the globe. However, many people have gained interest in learning it. People think the best way to learn a language is to be in English speaking countries, but the question is, is it the only means to learn a language?

To begin with, there are several ways of learning a language. The first merit is personal development and language training. In a sense that, when a person is trained in a language in childhood, it helps the person to be fluent in the language and speaks well when he ages.

Secondly, being in the midst of people speaking the language is another crucial means to learn a language. For example, when one finds himself among people speaking a particular language, one start to exercise his listening skills to learn from them so that he can communicate with them. Again, taking a language to schools is also a way of learning a language in a way that, it’s obvious that many people spend much time in school, so it will help them to learn the language even with its writing and grammar.

Learning a language depends on the situation one finds himself in, but in conclusion, it is said that the best way to catch a monkey is to be like a monkey. In fact, being around people with a language is and the best way to learn, and I strongly agree that it is not the only way to learn a language.
