The chart below shows the average daily minimum and maximum levels of two air pollutants in four big cities in 2000. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making comparisons where relevant.
The chart provides information about the maximum and minimum levels of two air pollutants (Sulphur dioxide and Dinitrous oxide) in the four major cities (Los Angeles, Calcutta, Beijing and Mexico).
Overall, Mexico was the major city where the SO2 and N20 level was quite high compared to three different cities. Moreover, Los Angeles consumption rate was nearly negligible in terms of SO2 and being the less pollutant city compared to others. However, there has been a fluctuation in each city regarding the different pollution levels.
To begin with, Sulphur Dioxide was 1% in Los Angeles, which is less as compared to Calcutta 47%, Beijing 25% and Mexico 80%. However, the scenario remains the same in the context of Maximum sulphur dioxide and data stood to be at 10% in Los Angeles, 59% in Calcutta, 130 in Calcutta and 200 in Mexico.
Furthermore, minimum Dinitrous oxide was minimum in Beijing, which was stood to be at 14 compared to 30 in Calcutta, 39 in Los Angeles and 113 in Mexico, respectively. Moreover, Dinitrous oxide stood to be at 207, which was reasonably lower than the other three cities, which stood to be at 104 in Los Angeles, 54 in Beijing and 52 in Calcutta.
