The Main Purpose of Public Libraries Is to Provide Books, and They Should Not Waste Their Limited Resources (1)

The main purpose of public libraries is to provide books, and they should not waste their limited resources and space on providing expensive hi-tech media such as computer software, videos, and DVDs. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Public libraries are built to provide knowledge with the help of books while some have better facilities like computer videos and DVDs which adds negative effect to this atmosphere I completely disagree with this statement.

Computer videos and DVDs facility this ad of the knowledge to that environment the first merit of this facility in this modern world is meaning of the books and articles which are old and rupture some of them have pages missing so people undergoing to this reference book or article get wrong information or lack proper information for them this computer act as a good source where they can get entire information and with his neck and also get the review of the people who had followed the article and present their view all these help to develop overall Idea on a topic from all around.

The second merit of the facility is it then prove that human tends to remember more information that is sold visually than theoretically the videos and DVD provide visual content which helps to understand and remember for a long period of time. For example, many libraries have visual books like the solar system, animal kingdom etc. the CD, S at the end of this book help us to know about the book, content, etc. Within a short period of time and I would say that I had learnt about the solar system from this series only they are an exciting and awesome way of learning.

In conclusion, this facility is at the libraries have diversified the way of gaining knowledge rather than reducing the knowledge people are happy to have different modes of knowledge as every human being is not the same in the world.
