Write a Letter to the Manager of a Cinema (Movie Theatre) about a jacket you have left behind after a film. In your letter:
Describe the jacket
Describe where you were seated
Explain what you want to be done
Dear Cinema Manager,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Jessica Thompson, and I am writing to you in regard to a personal belonging that I unfortunately left behind at your esteemed movie theatre. On Monday, April 24th, I attended the 7:00 PM showing of “Eternal Echoes” at the Cedar Grove Cinema. After the movie, I mistakenly left my jacket behind, and I am hoping that you can help me retrieve it.
To better assist you in locating my jacket, I would like to provide a detailed description of it. The jacket is a women’s medium-sized, navy-blue, quilted parka with a detachable faux-fur hood. The brand name, “Northfield,” is embroidered on the left sleeve in silver threading. Additionally, the jacket has a distinctive feature: a small, sewn-on patch on the right shoulder depicting a lighthouse in a stormy sea. The jacket is not only valuable to me financially but also carries sentimental significance as it was a gift from a dear friend.
During the movie, I was seated in the middle section of the theatre, specifically in Row G, Seat 12. I believe I placed my jacket on the seat next to me (Seat 13) during the film. Upon leaving the theatre, I must have overlooked it in my haste to exit and avoid the large crowd.
I kindly request that you check the lost and found department or have your staff inspect the theatre to see if my jacket has been found. If located, I would be extremely grateful if you could hold onto it for me until I can arrange to pick it up. If it is more convenient for you, I am also open to providing my mailing address so that the jacket can be shipped back to me at my expense.
Please feel free to contact me via email at jessica.xxxxson@email.com or by phone at (555) xxx-4567 to provide any updates or to request further information. I truly appreciate your assistance in this matter and would like to extend my gratitude in advance for your help.
Yours sincerely,
Jessica Thompson
