Clothes IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answer

Question 1:- What colour clothes do you like to wear?

Answer – I am a simple-fashioned person and so really fancy wearing something that has dull colours such as all black or anything with no more than two colours would also do.

Question 2:- Do people in your country like to wear bright colours?

Answer – Not really except for some special occasions which require one to wear such a cloth. This is because people are really concerned about others, and this delimits us to wear something that causes little attention in public.

Question 3:- What are the differences between men’s and women’s preferences in colour?

Answer – Men usually prefer to go the simple way, wearing any lone colour attire, but women mostly dress to suit their earrings, shoes and bags, so they decided to add a little more colours to what they wear to make up this combination.

Question 4:- What kind of clothes do you like to wear?

Answer – There are different types of clothes I always like to don depending on the occasion and where I find myself at a particular point in time. For instance, I will like to put on simple black jeans trousers together with a round neck t-shirt when I go to the mall, but I usually wear a suit when I am going to church services and some very important meetings such as dinner and dates.

Question 5:- What kind of clothes do you never wear?

Answer – I really dislike wearing clothes that attract attention from the public and also clothes that expose any part of my body, especially my axilla.

Question 6:- Do you wear the same style of clothes on the weekend and on the weekdays?

Answer – No, not really. On weekdays, I am mostly going to work so I would rather put on suitable workwear, but on the weekends when I have an off from work, I usually wear any normal house wears to help me feel relaxed and only put on something special when I am going out from home.

Question 7:- Do you wear the same clothes at school/work?

Answer – No. My work has no prescribed attire anyways, so I always have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of clothes that I prefer to put on, but since school has always proposed to us a specific uniform to wear, I am always in those clothes, and I don’t wear them either when I am outside school.

Question 8:- Did you have any special clothes when you were a child?

Answer – Oh yes, of course. These were my favourite clothing anyways. And it was my first birthday clothe that I got from my mum when I turned five, and I really loved that cloth that I almost wore to every occasion that I found myself at.
