  1. As the world becomes more integrated. Individuals opt for communicating professionally and socially using the advanced technology method while they neglect the face to face communication approach. In the following paragraph l shall analyze these options and present my views.

First of all, with the advent of modern technology has helped to cross the geographical barrier. For lnstance: A person sitting in the comfort of his/her home in Nigeria can contact his European business partners instantly using email, whatsapp or skype. This can be beneficial for the expansion of business as he can interact with people across the globe. It helps to reduce miscellaneous expenses such as travelling for setting up a meeting destination.

On the other hand, there are major drawbacks associated with it. For Example: Excessive dependence on advanced technology leads to situation whereby people lose personal contacts of their business associates. Another important factor is that chances of sharp practice upsurge as they only communicate through devise such as phones and other electrical gadgets and it is difficult to verify the self identity of persons we are interacting with.

To recapitulate briefly, it is a known fact that technology plays a major role in our lives. It is an effective tool of communication which makes life easier and more convenient aside that there are some demerits associated with it. In my opinion, the mode of communication should be choosen carefully taken into cognizance such factors as Time and Distance.

  2. The days of face to face communication at the office are fast becoming a thing of the past. Technology makes sending information hassle free and super convenient s it happens at the click of a button. It can even happen from the comfort of your own home, sending work emails to clients from your home computer saving fuel and time costs of travel. Its not only time efficient but cost efficient. It’s also enjoyable, technology makes sending images or digital humorous easy and this is a very fun experience for those using such technological applications.

On the contrary nothing can ever quite replace the human factor that technology fails to grasp. Seeing a person face to face you get to see their expression and feel their aura making face to face communication more personal and honest. Moreover sometimes in person communication allows there for individuals not to misunderstand or misinterpret one another as with technological communication.
