Modern Lifestyles Mean that Many Parents Have Little Time for Their Children

Modern lifestyles mean that many parents have little time for their children. Many children suffer because they do not get as much attention from their parents as children did in the past.

In this contemporary era, everyone became engaged in their own work. Because of this, children are being neglected and are provided with less time by modern-day parents. Most of the children, who have the ultimate right to enjoy their life by spending time with their mother and father, are enduring as a result of the much less attention given by parents in this current way of living, which was not a case in the earlier times. I completely agree with the above statement, and the upcoming paragraphs will bolster my statement.

Firstly, for the good upbringing of any child, parent’s care, attention and time are very necessary. In this present-day lifestyle, we are being exposed to the conditions where both the parents have been working and have had become involved in their businesses. In contrast, in the past, one of both parents had given their entire time and attention to their youth by staying at home. Consequently, in the olden days, children’s attitude was better socially, and the children never hesitated to share their feelings and hurdles of their lives with their parents.

On the other hand, modern-day children have become stubborn and habituated to share everything about what is going on in their lives on social media. Moreover, there are children who crave their parent’s love and affection these days, but unfortunately, their parents couldn’t allot their time because of their work. However, they all are struggling just to ensure their children well-being in the future. But young children couldn’t understand this. As a result of this, most children are feeling lonely along with undergoing depression.

In conclusion, in these present days, almost every child is suffering in various ways and is searching for alternate ways to express their feelings owing to lack of attention and time of their parents. This was totally opposite in the case of earlier days. In those days, one or both parents, mostly mothers, was always available for their children, making them much social and open-hearted.
