Some people are afraid of the rate technology is taking over the world slowly, especially among young people meanwhile others also think it has brought about a lot of positivities in enlightening our daily living.
Technology taking major portions of our lives recently is an obvious situation around almost every part of the globe, and one cannot ignore this fact. In the olden times, a person would have to write a page or two full letters on a sheet of paper and post by mail before it took quite a long time to reach its destination; however, mobile phones, fax and emails are all a medium for which this message could be sent through, and this takes just some few seconds before getting to the preferred part. This has been very influential to our lives in a positive way for some reasons such as time and financial savings.
On the other hand, some also think this is stealing our lives bit by bit, making most of our ancient practices fall before the times. This is because the respect people had for the elderly and especially their leaders are being lost. For instance, a minister in Ghana posts a tweet on Twitter, and there would be a comment from a layman in the country insulting the minister, and since this person is hidden behind the darkness, there is nothing that could be done about it, and this has really brought the dignity of such personalities low before other civilians in the country.
Personally, I think that the positive’s that the introduction of technology in our lives has caused outraces the disadvantages it has caused.
