Some People Feel that Certain Workers Like Nurses, Doctors and Teachers Are Undervalued (3) (1)

Some people feel that certain workers like nurses, doctors and teachers are undervalued and should be paid more, especially when other people like film actors or company bosses are paid huge sums of money that are out of proportion to the importance of the work that they do. -How far do you agree? -What criteria should be used to decide how much people are paid? You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

In this society, many people believe that the size of salaries received by doctors, teachers and nurses is way less when compared with the remuneration received by movie actors and salaries of different companies heads. I completely agree with the common perspective of people about the difference in the amount of money being paid to the different jobs. Hence, to fill in this gap, I recommend, and I wish the governing body to consider the benefits provided by them to people as a criterion to decide upon the number of salaries to be paid.

Firstly, nurses, doctors and teachers, professors and lecturers should be given equal importance as actors and other multinational company bosses, regarding the payment to nurses and doctors, who have been working assisting tremendous population by curing our medical illnesses. For instance, especially amidst this corona pandemic, many healthcare workers and doctors have saved our lives at the expense of their lives. Because of this, I feel that there must be an increment in their pay.

Regarding the teaching profession, every literate person today should be thankful for what they have gained under their teacher’s guidance. In spite of this great contribution by teachers, they are being undervalued and given less amount of salaries. I think the government should consider teachers hard work equal to that of a multinational company head’s hard work and in the sense of gratitude, they have to be offered with equal importance as that of actors and bosses.

To conclude, each job’s service and its effect or benefit on the population should be taken into consideration to fix a certain amount of salary. Every profession should be treated equally, and government have to take steps to inculcate the dignity of labour in every citizen’s mind. Furthermore, no profession should be undervalued.
