The paradigm shift has made it necessary for the parents to work for the greener pasture of their children. So, most of the time, children remain alone, and here it becomes indispensable for the children to operate electronic gadgets. I completely agree that mobile phones are the need of modern times. It can keep children alert about hidden dangers as well as they can keep themselves abreast with the outer world.
At the outset, parents work round the clock for the welfare of their children. Now and then, they migrate to cities and do late-night shifts as well. Their day and night remain hectic. Due to it, children remain alone. So, mobile phones can be of great assistance to them. For example, by seeing children alone at home, sometimes the culprits try to make use of it. They do break-ins or do kidnapping for ransom. If children know how to operate mobile phones, then they can inform the police or can make a call to their parents.
Moving further, modern times demand children to be updated. Now, technology is spreading in every nook and corner. If children become experts in technology at a tender age, they will make their future bright. For example, now, parents feel the need to make their children aware of coding. Children also take more interest in it. When they become experts in operating technology, like making programs or apps, they can become self-employed and will not need to struggle a lot for jobs. It is possible only when they keep themselves updated with the cutting edge technology.
In conclusion, in this way, phones are boon to children for their safety as well as keeping them updated with hi-tech technology.
