The News Is an Important Source of Knowledge for All of Us About the World

The news is an important source of knowledge for all of us about the world, especially in this era of technology. Journalists are mainly responsible to bring this news to us but not all of them are true to their responsibilities and ethics. How much can we trust the journalists? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.

In this digital era, where everything is related to the news, we just rely on the internet and believe everything that is written by journalists. However, they are only the ones who provide us with the information about the world but to trust it should not be the first instinct. In this essay, I will talk about some of the points why we should trust them, and if we do, we need to check them.

On the other hand, media is important in today’s era, where they always bring us detailed information about everything we need to know. They are the first ones to give us the report, and it spreads rapidly around the globe. They are truly dedicated to their job and give us information that is authentic and can rely on, even from the war-zone area, which is risky, also from the area where the climate is considerably high. For example, recently, they gave a piece of news about a cyclone tornado to warn us about the safety measurements we have to look for.

On the other hand, there have been numerous talks about clickbait news. Where anyone can post any information without double-checking with dot com adding to it and post it, this leads to judging the integrity of the information which we get and accuses many of the reporters about spreading fake news to the world. However, many people will think this is the scenario and pass on the judgement based upon the information. For example, it is reported that five out of twenty pieces could be clickbait, and the news posted on it is unverified and irrelevant.

According to the aforementioned reasons, a person should always check the information and make a decision. There should be ample reasons to be suspicious and, because of it, we should do the checking on the given information.
