The Number of car accidents is increasing annually. This is the result of poor driving skills. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Undeniably, the number of road accidents is soaring day by day. Some claims that bad driving skills are the main cause of escalating accidents. However, I completely disagree with this ideology since, in my personal opinion, the prominent causes are the magnitude of cars on the road and drive after drinking.
To embark, with all over the world, to drive any motor vehicle individual must have an authorised driving license, and it is a strong proof issued by the government that the concerned person is skilful in driving. Therefore, without any doubt, I can say poor driving is not the only cause of road accidents.
In addition to this, a striking factor for upsurging accidents is the number of cars on the road. With the effect of modernisation in science and technology, vehicles are more affordable globally. For instance, in-car market, one can buy a car even under ₹2,00,000. Consequently, every single person at home has a personal car. Due to this counting of cars on same roads are increasing which results in accidents.
Furthermore, consumption of alcohol before or during driving is another factor to be considered for accidents; after having alcoholic beverages, individuals lose their sense and control, which results in a massive accident most of the time. For instance, once, my father had an accident on the road, even he had experienced it, in which he got hurt a lot, and that was merely due to alcohol.
To conclude, I believe that poor driving skill is not the only cause of road accidents since growing countable cars and having alcohol can not be undermined for this problem.
