You would like to work in a different city to be closer to your family. Write a letter to your employer to request a transfer to another office. In the letter:
- Explain why you would like to move.
- Request that your employer places you in a specific city.
- Request that it be completed by a certain date.
Dear Mr Gupta,
Hope you and your family doing well. My name is John and I am associated with your organization since last year having employee Id 122212, and working at Bangalore’s office as a Senior Engineer. I am writing this letter to request my transfer to Gurgaon’s office.
The reason why I would like to shift there is that I am the only child of my parents and my mother is undergoing surgery next month and I want to be there to support her. Moreover, my father lonely might face several difficulties ranging from doctor appointments to medication
I would humbly request you to please change my working location from Bangalore to Gurgaon by the first week of the following month, that is 4th of May 2021 as it will give me some time to get settle down in the Gurgaon office before my mother’s surgery. I hope you will take my request under consideration and help me.
