Myriad of people learn a new language, among some of them learn for communication and some people learn for know other cultures, some learn because it is required in higher education while others learn for their vocational purpose.
I have the ability to speak four languages, which I have mastered after hard work. Today I would like to talk about the time when I was required to learn a new language which was English, and I learnt it.
After completing my 12 class, my family suggested I go abroad for my further studies. One of my cousin, whose name is Rajesh is also live in Canada. He also suggested I go to developed countries because the living standard is high as well as infrastructure and facilities. And job opportunity is also high than in India.
One special requirement for a student visa besides academic performance and other essential documents; in developed countries is English language certificate is crucial. Around the world, IELTS, PTE, toffee types my certificate valid, so I have to learn this global language, English. I joined our area famous organization where the majority of students were satisfied with their learning method among mostly got success.
In the first period, it was hard to learn a new language because we needed to memories too many action words, grammar, principally needed to understand a new language, to be honest for starting a couple of weeks, I could not understand what was going on. But after taking interest and hardworking, I feel like it is rolling on bread.
Pronunciation was also a big concern when we learn a new stranger foreign language. Learning the English language was an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it my desired score, and I started my bachelor degree at Rajkot.
But now I am preparing for IELTS, and hopefully, I will get my desired results; and after going abroad, my dream is to learn the Spanish language. In Europe, in the many jobs, this language is required.

Question 1:- At what age should children start learning a foreign language?
Answer:- I think there are no age restrictions for learning and gaining knowledge or language. Children ought to focus on their academic careers rather than this type of the global influence. But I think when children are mature and ready to learn new global languages they can start to learn them for instance. My cousin brother started learning the English language when he was 13 years old.
Question 2:- Which skill is more important, speaking or writing?
Answer:- Both skills are paramount in every person life. Speaking is useful when we need to communicate with others; lack of communication skill also lead to several problems in term of personal life and occupation if it depends on it. While in many jobs writing is essential, in a myriad of companies around the world, employers are required to write their daily working reports and submit them to their superiors. Shortly, writing skill is most useful in professional life; however, communication skill is useful everywhere.
Question 3:- Does a person still need to learn another language if he is good at English?
Answer:- I think it depends on the person and their goal if he/she requires to English or any global language then they ought to learn it. But if a person learns it only for their status in society or learns other cultures, then he/she can shift language target and learn another alternative language. For instance, my neighbour occupation is journalism, and he tries to get something, English is a cup of tea for him, but recently he started to learn Arabic.
Question 4:- Do you think minority languages will disappear?
Answer:- Yes, unfortunately, after globalization, English, Chinese, French, Spanish comes with the global language. Additionally, more and more people try to learn this language. As a result, people forget their language and adapt to these languages. Recently I read an article in newspapers about language-related, and it reveals that the number of ancient languages died and many are on the edge of disappearing.
