History IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answer
Question 1:- Do you like (to learn about) history?
Answer – Absolutely, madam. History was one of my favorite subjects when I was in school. I really liked the French revolutions and the dictator periods of Hitler in Germany.
Question 2:- What historical event do you find most interesting?
Answer – I would say, without any hesitation, the Dandi March, in other means, salt March which I consider the most exciting event in history. Mahatma Gandhi, the father of our nation, was led by the strike in order to display the protest against the steep tax the British levied on salt in a nonviolent manner.
Question 3:- Do you think history is important?
Answer – Oh yes, history as a subject is really essential to learn. Studying history enables us to develop knowledge and understanding of historical events and trends, especially over the past century. The rich history of the world helps us to paint a detailed picture of where we stand today.
Question 4:- Do you like to watch programs on TV about history?
Answer – Yes, I’m really into watching TV channels that are solely related to history, especially the Egyptian cultures and the formation of mummies.
Question 5:- Do you think you can really learn history from films and TV programs?
Answer – this is an interesting question, madam; yes, I believe I can inhale plenty of knowledge by watching TV programs and films rather than from passively reading history textbooks. Since tv program is combined of more than a sense like hearing watching will immerse the knowledge deep in your mind while reading the textbooks arise boredom.
Question 6:- Do you think the Internet is a good place to learn about history?
Answer – As far as I am concerned, I believe the Internet is a wise choice for learning history. On the Internet, myriad websites are available related to each trend and event which occurred in the past. On top of that, they all are easily accessible. So the Internet is an appropriate option who really want to dig more into history.
Question 7:- Can you name a person from history whom you would like to learn more about?
Answer – It is again an interesting question; I would say the person that I would like to learn more about is Adolf Hitler. I already read his autobiography of Mein Kampf, but I really want to know the triggering factors which make him the cruelest person in the world. His childhood was the sole primary reason for that. By and large, Hitler was a good sin who enormously lived with his mother till her death; then, he became the dictator of Germany.
Question 8:- Why would you like to learn more about him/her?
Answer – As I said earlier, Hitler was a poor soul and lovable son, and amiable to everyone. I just need to know all the triggering factors which make him the cruelest person in the world. Is it because of his father, who was a really self-loathing person and tortured him since childhood, or the people who surrounded him, especially the Jews, without leaning a hand for him to help, watched and walked away?
