Sample Answer of the IELTS-Trend Academic Writing Task 1 Sample 1 

The bar graph compares the employment rate between men and women in 6 different countries between 1995 and 2005.

It is seen that the employment rate of a male in 1995 and 2005 is more than 50%; Whereas, the job opportunities for male in 2005 is slightly increased as compared to previous records. Furthermore, the percentage of work rate is maximum in Iceland in 2005.

On the other hand, females’ employment rate in 1995 and 2005 is fluctuating according to every country. However, it begins with less than 30% in 1995 in Australia. Following this, the rate of job opportunities in Switzerland and the Uk is maximum, like its above 50%. However, in Newzealand, the percentage of work is significantly less in 1995.

Overall, the employment rate is fluctuating trends across all countries in 1995 and 2005 for both genders.
