Pets IELTS Speaking Part 1 Questions With Answer
Question 1:- Do you have a pet?
Answer- No, I don’t have a pet, even though I have been contemplating having one someday.
Question 2:- Do you like animals?
Answer- Yes, I do love animals. I love animals to the point of rearing chickens in my home, I started with just three chickens, but now they’ve multiplied to over 20. I love animals to the point of coming out early morning to watch the sky as the birds go about their businesses.
Question 3:- What’s your favourite animal?
Answer- I will say my favourite animal is the dog. This is so because for some time now, I have watched several documentaries about how loyal they are. Of recent is the documentary of a man who is always escorted in the morning by his dog and then the dog coming to stand by the train station in the evening expecting the arrival of its master to escort it back home. This ritual by the dog continued several years after the man died. So I will say the dog is definitely one of my favourite animals.
Question 4:- What is a popular pet to have in your country?
Answer- In my country, I would say the popular pets are cats. Most homes and even my neighbours have cats.
Question 5:- Did you have a pet as a child?
Answer- I’ve never had a pet, even as a child.
Question 6:- Why do people have pets?
Answer- I think most people keep pets for security reasons as it helps keep intruders at bay. Others also do it for the fun of it and in keeping them company.
