This is what happens in Part 1 of IELTS Speaking;

  • When you enter the speaking test room, the examiner greets you.
  • The examiner will start to record the interview (audio)
  • The examiner asks for your ID Card (passport)
  • They (he or she) asks your full name
  • They ask you two or three introductions or ‘warm up’ questions about either.

      • Your study

Question 1:- Has your voice ever changed?

Answer – Well, when I was a child, my voice was thicker and childish, whereas now it has changed and has deeper.

Question 2:- Is your voice similar to your parents?

Answer – To be honest, I don’t thing my voice, and my parent’s voice has any similarity, they differ to each other.

Question 3:- Do you like your voice?

Answer – Yes, I love my voice, I haven’t a melodious voice, but I like my own sounds.

Question 4:- Is your voice different from when you were young?

Answer – As I said earlier, yes, it changed and became more depth.

Question 5:- Do you like to record your voice?

Answer – Yes, I like to record my voice and listen to it; it aids me to improve my voice; thus, others can easily understand. For instance, currently, I am preparing for the IELTS test; thus, I record my voice daily for the speaking module.

Question 6:- Does anyone in your family have a similar voice?

Answer – No, no one has the same voice among my family members.
