Dear Maria,
Hope you are doing well as well as exhirillating in joy as you met your parents after a year. In this happy moment, I want to inform you about a book named “The world war and beyond”  which I have taken from you and due to unavoidable circumstances could not return it.
To explain in detail, Firstly I would like to confess that I am feeling guilty as I have kept this book with me for such a long time and was stuck up owing to my family responsibilities. In the hope that you remember the incident that took place when you handed me this book, I plead you to accept my apology.
Last semester when I Was suffering from exam fear in the subject of history You personally gave me the required strength and handed me this copy which clearly elucidated the historical events in a simple manner. As a result, I scored good marks for which I owe you a treat But After our last exam, I got a call saying that My grandmother is in a critical condition hence I rushed immediately. When I returned back I came to know that You have already vacated the room and Left for your country.
I regret holding your most precious book with me as I am aware that your summer project is based on world war and You had a plan to gather the information from this book. Moreover, I would be grateful if you could send me your postal address as I would be happy to courier this book to you as soon as possible. Once again I wish you healthy holidays
Take care,
Best wishes.
Sandra
