The graph below shows the different modes of transport used to travel to and from work in one European city in 1960, 1980 and 2000. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.
The bar chart illustrates the information regarding the foreign individuals who used the four different types of commuters namely train, car, tube and Bus for work purposes during the three different years. The data has been calibrated in percentile.
Looking at the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the in the initial year the bus trend was rose sharply it shared by upward trend whereas, the least context was showing by car in the given year.
Apparently, it is crystal noticeable that in 1960 the people give more preference to Bus as compared to other transports. Apart from it, the percentage of the train was approximately less than a one fifth. Apart from it, they use the car and train for travel in 2000 which were almost more than one third and less than a quarter.
Turning towards remaining data in the 1960 the car users trend was fall down. After, 23% of users travel by tube in 1980. In contrast, in the second year, the train and tube show a minor difference which was only 3%.
